Stained Glass

Have you ever seen a beautiful stained glass panel in full darkness? I mean, what's the point? You can barely make out any changes in color or shapes. Worthless ... you hardly even notice the potential it has.

Now contrast that to a stained glass panel in full warm sunlight! What a difference. Your eye is drawn to explore all the shapes and colors. There a story unfolds before your eyes: art, emotion - connection.

I think that in many ways I am like that stained glass panel in the darkness. Apart from Light shining through me I have no purpose.

The potential might be there, but without the light I am nothing.
